We’ve taken the Manix 2 XL platform and tweaked it slightly to bring you a unique knife that you’ll be proud to have in your pocket or display case, while keeping the cost reasonable. The standard S30V steel blade has been upgraded with premium CPM M4 steel, a high-speed steel with fantastic toughness and edge retention qualities. The standard black G10 scales have been changed out for natural G10 scales, which have a unique translucent green color. This Manix 2 XL also feature stainless steel skeletonized liners, clip and hardware.
The C95 Spyderco “Mega” Manix is an assembly of small seemingly inconsequential features that added together result in one of the strongest knives from Spyderco to date. Outstanding ergonomics are the result of the convenient slide lock, the relationship between the blade’s weight, and the handle’s shape. Description: This Manix 2 Lightweight knife features a translucent dusk blue Edgetek FRCP (fiberglass reinforced co-polymer) handle with Spyderco's Ball Bearing Lock mechanism. Carpenter Steel CTS-BD1N steel blade with a flat grind and plain edge. Ambidextrous carry wire clip. The lightweight Manix 2 features a Ball Bearing Lock. The lock operates around a free-floating ball bearing contained inside a custom polymer cage. The ball bearing's round shape allows the lock to self-adjust across a large surface ensuring smooth and consistent lock-up every time it is engaged. The Ball Bearing Lock is engineered to be self contained meaning there is no need for internal liners to support it, allowing the folder to be manufactured liner-free and extraordinarily light weight.
